The Role:

Molaprise is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team in New York. We are growing and forward looking in the delivery of cutting edge digital and technological transformation solutions to our customers.  It is in line with this that we are looking for a competent, dynamic, authentic, passionate, and results-oriented leader who will join our team to help drive credibility, relevance, impact, and loyalty in our customer base. This is a management role and would require the ideal candidate to possess technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products whiles expanding sales territories.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior partner account managers (like Cisco, etc.), Systems Engineers, Technical Leaders, Sales Managers, and other relevant stakeholders to drive sales strategies. 
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
  • Lead in the identification and establishment of new businesses.
  • Lead in strategy development, finding opportunities, driving sales execution and business closure.
  • Support Sales Team in information gathering at customer meetings.
  • Design and present technology solutions to prospective customers in support of the Sales Team.
  • Act as a technical resource for the Sales team during the selling process.
  • Act as an advisor and/or makes recommendations to sales or project team members.
  • Understand industry applications and competitive products.
  • Stays current with technology as it pertains to communication infrastructure.

Education and Experience:

  • This requires 8+ years’ experience in cloud infrastructure, security and software technologies.
  • Must be able to demonstrate confidence in architecture, engineering, operations, and security discussions.
  • Proven ability to understand complex and in-depth level technical situations, related business challenges, and be able to communicate strategies for effective solutions.
  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively.
  • Solid track record in managing and winning major strategic opportunities, with little or no supervision.
  • Experienced in multi-level selling with ability to influence decision makers.
  • Strong passion for driving strategies with proven leadership skills working in a dynamic matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadline.
  • Ability to work in diverse teams.
